Bowling Buddy Privacy Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
Bowling Buddy is made by Yotam Troim ("we"). This policy covers the Bowling Buddy app for iPhone and iPad.
The short version
We don't collect any data. Bowling Buddy has no account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics, no ads and no third-party code. Nothing you enter in the app is sent to us.
What stays on your device
Your games, scores, events, bowlers, balls and the answers you give during setup (such as your name, average, throwing hand and where you bowl) are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. They are included in your normal device backups, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
iCloud sync (optional, Pro)
If you turn on iCloud sync, your games are copied between your own devices through your private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We can't see it, read it or access it. Turning sync off stops copying and deletes nothing.
Purchases
Bowling Buddy Pro and the 14-day trial are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, payment details or Apple Account. The app only checks with Apple whether Pro is unlocked.
Notifications
Reminders (such as a league-night reminder or a trial reminder) are scheduled on your device. No push server is involved, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
Files you choose
When you import a PinPal backup, the file is read on your device. When you export a spreadsheet or share a scorecard image, the file goes only where you send it.
Children
Bowling Buddy collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. If we ever start collecting data, we'll say so here and in the App Store listing before it happens.
